Schultz Floral Shop has been serving Valparaiso, Indiana and the surrounding area since 1969. We focus on retail, sympathy, and special event florals as well as business arrangements and events. In addition to fresh florals, we also design artificial / silk arrangements for indoor and outdoor use.

Our team of floral designers, sales, and delivery drivers continues to grow in 2025 and we have openings posted below. We look forward to and thank you for your interest.

Retail Sales Associate – Schultz Floral Shop, Valparaiso
Part-Time

Are you passionate about flowers, creativity, and delivering memorable customer experiences? Join our friendly and fast-paced floral boutique as a Retail Sales Associate!

We’re looking for enthusiastic, dependable team members who love connecting with people and have an eye for beauty. As the face of our shop, you’ll help customers select floral arrangements, process sales, and keep our space blooming with warmth and charm.

What You’ll Do:

Greet and assist customers with flower selections and gift ideas
Maintain product displays and keep the shop clean and inviting
Wrap bouquets and prep floral products as needed
Operate POS system and handle transactions with care
Support floral designers and help with holiday or event rushes
Stay informed about seasonal flowers and basic floral care

What We’re Looking For:

Positive attitude and a customer-first mindset
Strong communication and basic computer skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask
Retail or customer service experience a plus
Interest in flowers or design is welcome—training provided!

Part-Time Florist / Floral Designer – Schultz Floral Shop, Valparaiso

Are you passionate about flowers, design, and creating moments that matter? Join our friendly and fast-paced floral boutique as a Part-Time Florist / Floral Designer!

We’re looking for a creative, dependable team member who loves working with flowers and bringing beauty to life. As a key part of our design team, you’ll craft arrangements, assist customers, and help keep our shop blooming with style and care.

What You’ll Do:

Create fresh floral arrangements for everyday orders and special events
Assist walk-in customers with custom floral designs and gift ideas
Maintain flower inventory and workspace cleanliness
Prep flowers and materials for designers and displays
Stay up to date on floral trends and seasonal blooms
Support holiday and event production as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Prior floral design experience (professional or strong hobbyist)
Creative eye with attention to color, texture, and balance
Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to multitask
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
