Event Florist & Project Manager

We are seeking a talented, organized, and passionate Florist & Project Manager to join our team to specialize in wedding and event florals. This dual-role position combines artistic floral design with strategic event planning and client management. You will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements for weddings and managing the entire wedding floral process—from consultation to event execution. In addition to leading our wedding floral department, this role will support the retail studio during non-event periods with design and customer service.

Qualifications:

Strong background sales and project management.
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor in high-touch client environments.
Strong design eye with an appreciation for luxury aesthetics, color theory, and composition.
Familiarity with floral software (e.g., Details Flowers, Curate, Dubsado) is a plus.
Able to work weekends, lift floral materials up to 50lb, stand for 8-hour shifts, and travel locally to venues as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Core Responsibilities:

Wedding & Event Floral Design:

Conceptualize and design elegant, trend-forward floral arrangements for weddings and high-end events, maintaining alignment with the boutique’s elevated aesthetic.
Interpret vision, style preferences, and event themes of customers from big to small events.
Manage floral production, from prep and design through on-site setup and final installation.

Project & Client Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding clients, guiding them through every stage from inquiry to event completion.
Develop detailed event proposals, mood boards, pricing, and production schedules in collaboration with the creative and administrative teams.
Coordinate logistics with venues, planners, and vendors to ensure flawless execution.

Retail Floral Support:

Assist with daily floral orders, walk-in customers, and bespoke bouquet designs during non-event weeks.
Provide top-tier customer service that reflects the brand’s luxury ethos.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and help curate in-store displays and seasonal offerings.
